~ The Shadow Compendium ~

Since the announcement of Pokemon OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire, or ORAS for short the Pokemon community has grown impatient for its release. And I am one of these people. And so, since the Shadow Compendium isn't limited to one set game I'd like to share with you my theories and hopes for ORAS and the future of Pokemon.

~ Rayquaza Makes His Debut ~

Personally I want to believe that ALL Legendary Pokemon will receive a Primal-Evolution to allow them to bring out their olde powers that they had when the World was new. As well, since stones are a recurring theme in Pokemon and since they're made from earthen material that the Stones of Mega-Evolution and the natural-like theme of the three Primal "Weather" Legendary that they're somehow connected. Perhaps the Stones of Mega-Evolution bring out an older power from maybe the Pokemon ancestors or maybe they draw on the power of a Legendary Pokemon and then it fuses the Pokemon's current power and the older power using the stones as a type of satellite to transfer the energy?

Anyways, on the topic of Rayquaza. I personally think that he'll receive a Primal-Evolution. Not just because of my reasoning above but also because it would make sense and create a decent balance since his siblings have one already. Plus being all ancient and stuff and having an Ability to cancel out weather effects I feel that Rayquaza will receive a new "windy" weather effect that boosts the power of Flying type moves and cancels out all other weather effects including the Heavy Rain and the Extremely Harsh Sunlight.

Lastly, IF Raquaza gets a Primal-Evolution I expect him to grow hair, a bigger...longer body. A bright glowing green pattern tattooed all over his body, and an extension of his spikes and horns that make them appear almost like wings. And with theses appearance changes I also expect his Speed, Sp. Attack, and Sp. Defense to increase drastically so that it follows the idea of allowing him to match the speed of a jet, being able to fire a single Hyper Beam towards a falling storm of comets, and to protect him from the magic of Faerie-type Pokemon.

In conclusion; along with Rayquaza's Primal-Evolution I hope that he gets NOT ONE, BUT TWO Special Moves. The first one being a Physical attack and a Sp. Attack. In my mind I'm thinking:

Aurora Storm ~ Special ~ Flying ~ 7 PP ~ Base Damage ??? ~ Base Accuracy ???

~ The user summons a violent storm of energy which then rains down upon all targets. The user is also subjected to a harsh loss of Sp. Defense. ~


Vengeful Descend ~ Physical ~ Flying ~ 7 PP ~ Base Damage ??? ~ Base Accuracy ???

~ The user flies up cloaking itself in ancient energy and then descends upon a single target; grinding its body against them while curving upwards. The user is subjected to a harsh loss of Defense for 5 turns. ~

Primal-Rayquaza

Ability Name: Storm Eye: All weather effects (Including Heavy Rain and Extremely Harsh Sunlight) are cancelled out and replaced with a gentle breeze which boosts all Flying-type Moves and allows all Flying-type Pokemon to take flight regardless of Gravity or a if heavy Item is attached to the Pokemon that originally prevented it from flying.

Note: This ability follows the idea of (Heliophobia/Astraphobia).

~ Regigigas Returning? ~

While we're on the topic of Primal-Evolutions. Do you think that they'll allow us to capture Regigigas in OR/AS? Provided we have its three creations? And with Regigigas being captured do you think it will get a Primal-Evoluton? There's a video on the said subject and I found it to be interesting. Check it out. . .

~ Customization and Game Mechanics ~

I figured that it wouldn't be returning to OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire which is a huge disappointment. I would appreciate it if GameFreak follows through with some of their newer mechanics. Example: Character customization, combining the Poke Mart and Pokemon Centre (I actually had an idea where they could take the two themes from both of those places and make them into a remix and then insert it as the main theme from now on.), roller skating, changing seasons, animations for Gym Leaders when you enter battle with them, music when doing the battle facilities of that region, and different gym looks like what they did in B&W.

~ Another Remake? ~

Lastly: If GameFreak continues to follow the current pattern we can expect to see a remake of Diamond and Pearl next. Maybe they'll introduce a Primal Dialga and a Primal Palkia of some sort? Also, do you think it would be wise for GameFreak to remake the First and Second generations...AGAIN for the 3DS and modernize it with the current mechanics?
